Stephanie Peebus, RDH, Dental Hygienist

Stephanie has had a rewarding and fulfilling career as a dental hygienist since 1990. She graduated from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, Texas where she grew up and moved to Austin after graduation. She joined River Place Dental in February 2009 and truly enjoys working with Dr. Shook, Dr. Phillips and the rest of the team. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially camping and boating. She also likes cooking, gardening and taking long walks

I stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and current trends by attending continuing education courses and share that information with my patients.”

Yvonne Mason, RDH, Dental Hygienist

Yvonne is one of our two amazing hygienists. She has been in dentistry since 1997. Yvonne graduated from hygiene school in 2001 in Columbus, Georgia with honors. Born in Hawaii in a military family, she has traveled and lived all over the world but has called Austin home for 8 years.

Cristina Crossland, Financial Coordinator

Cristina came to Austin from Seattle, Washington where she was born and raised. She moved to Austin with her son two years ago in search of warm weather and southern values. Cristina enjoys spending her free time riding motocross with her son, jet skiing on the lake and the diversity of Austin.

“I enjoy getting to know our patients and helping them financially accomplish their dental wishes and needs. I feel fortunate to work with such amazing doctors and team.”

Holly Simon, Patient Coordinator

Holly is one of the smiling faces you will see as soon as you walk in the door at River Place Dental. As our Patient Coordinator, she organizes our schedule and makes our patients feel welcome. Holly is a native Austinite. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and her two favorite men in her life, Michael and their son Brayden.

Caroline Witte, RDA, Dental Assistant

Caroline is a native Texan, born and raised in Austin. She has been assisting for 5 years but thanks to her uncle has been around dentistry her whole life. She enjoys playing all sports, taking her dogs to the lake and also trains horses in her spare time.

Victoria Perez, RDA, Dental Assistant

Victoria was born in Houston, TX but grew up in Austin. Victoria has been assisting for 3 years and has worked in private practice, temporary assisting and military events at Camp Mabry. On the days she’s not working she enjoys cooking and hanging out with her friends and family and her dog Oliver.

“I enjoy working with people and building a trust with all patients. My goal is to make you feel comfortable. That alone is very rewarding!”
