Misti Phillips James, DDS

Dr. Misti Phillips James received her undergraduate degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Purdue University in 1999 and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2003. While in private practice in Indiana, Dr. James also served as a Comprehensive Care Clinical Instructor at Indiana School of Dentistry while her husband, Dr. Brian James, finished his endodontic residency. They met at Indiana University Dental School and moved to Austin in 2006. Dr. James currently serves as Secretary of the Capital Area Dental Society and is a member of the Women of Austin Dental Society, the Texas Dental Association and the American Dental Association. 

Some of Dr. James’ hobbies include church, spending time with her boxer dogs, Daisy and Cactus, and outdoor activities such as running and boating. Dr. James and her husband’s biggest joy is the recent birth of their son, Grayson Lee, on Halloween morning. They are so proud and excited about this new addition to their family and love spending time with him.
